Sewing is a lifelong passion that began in Jacqueline Puello-Raboy's teenage years. Today, as SoHarlem’s Maker-In-Residence, she specializes in creating timeless, sustainable designs by repurposing and transforming up to 95% of upcycled materials. Her deep expertise was developed over a decade at Veronica’s Fashion in Harlem (1985–1995), where she crafted womenswear for major department stores and trained under the most experienced seamstresses. In addition to her many accessories created for SoHarlem, Jacqueline also brings her creative touch to decorative items for her clients special occasions.
